Having the task of designing a Halloween window naturally called to Marc Jacobs inspired by the cult classic film, "The Shining." Marc Jacobs is known for his off-colored fashion sence as seen through his designs and through the companies branding image. The Marc Jacobs Fall / Winter 2014 collection featured awkward, eerlily dressed models wearing headbands, and sporting simple shoulder length hair, all reminiscent of the twins in "The Shining."
Forced perspective, and iconic symbols – axe and exit sign, from the film frame the "twin" mannequins with a realistic interpretion of the hallway. The window had installed in the window for public on campus for two weeks.
