Group project done by Auria Legendre and Kerby Kanaly, third-year students at FIT. The Bloom Learning Center is a space for those with varying degrees autism, of the age of eighteen to twenty-one years old. This center serves as a space for clients to learn new skills, receive therapy sessions and start to adjust to a more independent lifestyle. I was primarily responsible for the AutoCAD work done for the project which include the zoning diagram, floor plan, lighting plan and section. The concept and final design for the space was a collaborative effort between Auria and I. Auria Legendre was responsible for the renderings shown in the project and a majority of the research done for the center. The final layout shown in this project was completed by me. Should be noted that this project was completed in accordance with IDEC competition rules and regulations, but was not submitted for final award review.
